Senior Specialist - UAE Payroll

Location: Gurgaon/Chennai

Experience Required: 7-12 Years


Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Support key aspects of the Rewards/ Payroll related elements including Compensation, Benefits, Mobility and SAP and SAPIENCE Management. Manage and run the monthly payroll for the UAE organization.



What We are Looking For:


  • Experience: Minimum 6+ years in global payroll, with specialized expertise in UAE, Middle East, Dubai/Kuwait payroll processes. Proven experience managing bonuses, salary reviews, long-term incentives, and diverse rewards programs.


  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SuccessFactors (SF) or ADP and payroll systems like Sapience. Strong grasp of Time and Attendance management, especially for shift-based roles.


  • Key Competencies: Expertise in handling payroll variables, including advances, allowances, deductions, benefits, and salary/bank adjustments. Familiarity with WPS for Housing Advances.


  • Reporting Abilities: Skilled in HRSAP (Ad-Hoc Query) for payroll reporting, collaborating closely with HRBPs and Finance teams.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the execution of monthly payroll including managing all variables associated with the payroll (advances, allowances, deductions, additions, benefits, salary/bank/other changes) throughout the month.
  • Data maintenance and administration of HR SAP and Sapience systems in collaboration with HRBPs
  • Reporting administration of HR SAP (Ad-Hoc Query) and Sapience systems in collaboration with HRBPs and Finance department
  • Reporting administration of HR SAP (Ad-Hoc Query) and Sapience systems in collaboration with HRBPs and Finance department
  • Support the payroll annual processes and planning around bonus, salary review, long term incentive or any other rewards program for UAE
  • Support on any personnel cost/budget exercise or planning
  • Reporting payroll monthly JV and ad-hoc payments to Finance
  • Be main point of contact for payroll software support
  • Be main point of contact for payroll queries with employees
  • Daily verification of payroll mailbox, dispatch to responsible area or direct answer if payroll related
  • Monthly payroll/audit folder management and update
  • Payroll onboarding to BackOffice new joiners – email containing fixed FAQs and ESS user guide
  • Create ESS users
  • Manage Housing Advances Ad-Hoc payments by WPS.
  • For SAP HR is expected support for run the following actions: Promotions and Terminations and to support keep data accuracy to salary, leave and personal information by updating when necessary
  • For Sapience is expected 100% support and management including exporting/creation of WPS files
  • For employee relationship is expected a frequent communication by email/teams related to payroll, payslips, ESS portal, payroll Benefits – schooling/housing/dependents, bank details, bank verifications, annual earned salary summary.
  • With HRBPs is expected a close collaboration to provide any necessary information or reporting and receive any necessary information for an accurate monthly payroll run.
  • With Finance is expected a monthly collaboration for the payroll reporting providing all relevant information for the account posting of all payments processed from payroll side – via WPS, cheque or bank transfer
  • Gather all information received until cut-off, process it in the systems and accurately process it in payroll
