Country Coordinator – India (Hyderabad, EST Time Zone) Location: Hyderabad, India (Work hours aligned with Eastern Standard Time) Reports to: Director (Hong Kong) About Global Coordination Center Ltd ('Globalco') Globalco is a Hong Kong company with international operations in The Philippines and The United Arab Emirates. We specialize in AI-powered outsourcing, data operations, and business process optimization across multiple time zones and industries. Role Overview The Country Coordinator for India will lead upcoming Globalco's expansion in Hyderabad. This role bridges teams in the Philippines and North America. The Coordinator will manage the deployment of Globalco's presence in India, oversee operations, enforce company policies, and help build a high-performing local team. Key Responsibilities Team Development & Coordination Work directly with Globalco's Manila and US teams in real time during EST hours. Recruit, onboard, and manage staff for operations, administration, and technical support. Foster a performance-driven, accountable culture consistent with Globalco's standards. Office Setup & Vendor Management Identify, evaluate, and secure office space or coworking solutions in Hyderabad. Negotiate leases, manage relationships with property managers and vendors. Ensure the office meets Globalco's quality benchmarks for reliability, internet redundancy, and safety. Operations & Compliance Implement company policies. Supervise local HR, finance, and administrative activities. Maintain reporting structures aligned with Manila's operations. Cross-Regional Coordination Serve as the main operational link between India, the Philippines, and North America. Provide regular reports on staffing, performance, and resource allocation. Participate in global coordination meetings and operational reviews on EST. Qualifications ~ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or equivalent. ~5+ years of experience in operations, team management, or office administration. ~ Proven success managing cross-border or remote teams. ~ Strong English communication and negotiation skills. ~ Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, especially in a distributed global environment. ~ Comfortable working during Eastern Standard Time (typically 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM Hyderabad time). Preferred Prior experience in BPO, shared services, or tech startup operations. Familiarity with coworking networks and commercial real estate in Hyderabad. Knowledge of HR, compliance, or payroll processes in India. Proficiency in tools such as Google Workspace and Trello Compensation ~35,000 – 45,000 INR/month + bonuses
