Tutors Factor is an innovative ed-tech startup specializing in personalized, one-to-one learning solutions. Operating in 21+ cities with over 25,000 tutors nationwide , we provide academic tuition programs from nursery to 12th grade , along with tuition for competitive exams like IIT, JEE, and Olympiads . Our mission is to bridge the gap between learners and quality education through tailored guidance.
Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic Business Development Executive/Academic Counselor to drive growth by acquiring and enrolling students in our one to one tuition classes. The ideal candidate will excel in sales, counseling, and building strong client relationships, ensuring parents and students find value in our offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting: Identify and qualify leads through outbound and inbound calls, referrals, and digital platforms.
- Pitching: Present our programs effectively to prospective learners/parents.
- Negotiation & Closing: Convert leads into enrollments by addressing queries and negotiating terms.
- Student Counseling: Understand the academic goals of students and provide suitable course recommendations.
- Enrollment Assistance: Guide learners through the enrollment process and ensure a seamless experience.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with students and parents.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and provide insights to the product development team.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of interactions, sales, and client feedback.
- Target-Oriented: Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Maintain consistent contact with existing clients
- Manage sales pipeline
Compensation and Benefits
Salary : ₹25,000 to ₹40,000 per month + Performance-Based Incentives
Working Days: 6 days (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Incentives: Unlimited earning potential based on performance

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably in course selling or ed-tech startups.
- Strong understanding of education products/services and the industry landscape.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
