As our SEO Executive, you will play a critical role in improving the visibility and discoverability of our websites across search engines. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies that drive organic traffic, improve keyword rankings, enhance user experience, and ultimately generate qualified admissions inquiries.

This role calls for someone with a deep understanding of both technical and content-focused SEO, who can work cross-functionally with marketing, content, design, and web development teams. You’ll analyze performance metrics, identify opportunities, and implement optimizations that reflect both user intent and our institutional mission.

Whether it’s fine-tuning metadata, building backlinks, improving page speed, or optimizing content across multiple microsites, you will help shape how prospective families find and experience our school brands online.

Keyword Strategy & Content Optimization:

Develop and execute a strategic SEO plan tailored to each assigned web property, aligned with Ekya’s "World Beyond Boundaries" brand ethos.
Collaborate closely with content teams to produce SEO-optimized articles, blogs, landing pages, and multimedia content that highlight Ekya’s unique educational offerings (e.g., “Technical SEO & Website Performance:
Conduct regular technical SEO audits focusing on page load speed, mobile responsiveness, structured data implementation, and crawlability.
Partner with designers to enhance website usability and functionality, including faster media playback and intuitive site navigation.

Multi-Platform SEO Optimization:
Implement SEO best practices across diverse platforms, including Google My Business listings, ensuring optimized descriptions and visual assets with correct aspect ratios.
Manage SEO on third-party education listing sites such as SchoolMyKids and EducationWorld, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.
Optimize video content on platforms like YouTube by creating keyword-rich descriptions, transcripts, and engaging thumbnails to maximize organic reach.

Data-Driven Reporting & Analysis:
Monitor and analyze key SEO performance metrics using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and similar tools.
Use data insights to identify opportunities and recommend actionable improvements to SEO strategy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Brand Compliance:
Work closely with design and marketing teams to ensure all SEO-related visuals and content adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent identity.
Review and support PR outreach efforts, helping secure authoritative backlinks from trusted educational and news websites.
Maintain SEO compliance with search engine guidelines to avoid penalties and ensure sustainable growth.

Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio for performance tracking and reporting.
Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or SERanking for keyword tracking, backlink analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS to effectively collaborate with developers on technical SEO improvements.
Keeping abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

~ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred. 1-3 years of experience in executing SEO strategies, conducting keyword research, and using SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
