Skill's: Asset Management, ITIL4 Foundation ,· Location: Pune· Experience: 5 to 7 Yrs· Job Type : Contract to hire.· Notice Period:- Immediate joiners.Job Role:Key Responsibilities:Software Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of all software assets, including licenses, versions, and installations.License Compliance: Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and manage renewals and audits.Procurement Support: Assist in the procurement of software, liaising with Finance team for the Invoicing, Billing and maintenance of agreements in the designated repositories.Usage Monitoring: Monitor software usage to identify underutilized licenses and opportunities for cost savings.Policy Development: Develop and enforce software asset management policies and procedures.Reporting: Generate regular reports on software usage, compliance, and cost savings.Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with software vendors and manage contracts and agreements.Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff on software asset management best practices.Responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s software assets, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, and supporting cost-effective software procurement and usage.Experience with cloud-based software and licensing models.Governance:Review service commitments (if any), KPIs & metrics.Perform Software asset audits when required.Work with necessary teams to ensure publisher audit readiness.Conducts pre-review of reports related to assets.Identify policy or process violations and address the same.Skills required:Strong understanding of software licensing and compliance.Excellent organizational and analytical skills.Proficiency in SAM tools and software.Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in software asset management or a related role.Preferred Certifications:Certification in Software Asset Management (e.g., CSAM).ITIL4 Foundation
