Business development head- facility management

Position Overview:
The Business Development Head is responsible for driving growth and expanding the client base within the Facility Management industry. This position requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the FM Industry, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in sales and business development. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential business opportunities.
Analyze market data and client feedback to refine business development strategies.
Lead Generation and Networking:
Identify and target potential clients through research, networking, and industry events.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
Establish and cultivate relationships with key industry stakeholders.
Sales and Business Development:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth objectives.
Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
Lead negotiations and close contracts with prospective clients.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
Regularly engage with clients to assess satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Work closely with senior management to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
Provide regular updates and detailed reports on business development activities and outcomes.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage budgets for business development initiatives.
Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets set by the company.
Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to sales and business development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). Having Technical background will be an added advantage.
8 to 15+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the FACILITY MANAGEMENT INDUSTRY.
In-depth knowledge of facility management services, solutions, and industry best practices.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and engage key stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
