The role combines commercial acumen, analytical depth, and an intuitive understanding of consumer behaviour in the jewellery segment. The incumbent will identify growth opportunities across product, price, and customer journeys while maintaining profitability and inventory health within industry guardrails.Key Responsibilities1. P&L OwnershipDrive revenue and gross margin targets for the Jewellery categoryDevelop and execute strategic and operational plans aligned with business goalsTrack key metrics including sales, contribution margin, and working capital efficiency2. Category Strategy & GrowthIdentify new growth opportunitiesShape assortment strategy across price points, designs, and customer occasionsPartner with channels, branding and tech teams to build differentiated propositions and drive traffic-to-conversion outcomesLeverage customer journey insights and funnel analytics to improve engagement and repeat purchase behavior3. Margin & Profitability ImprovementCreate structured frameworks for pricing, discounting, and promotional effectivenessMonitor contribution health and ensure sustainable profitability4. Cross-functional CollaborationCollaborate with Branding, Supply, and channels to drive category visibility and business outcomesPresent data-driven insights and performance reviews to senior leadershipKey Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of the Jewellery market — consumer trends, pricing dynamics, and product lifecycleProven track record of driving revenue and margin growth in premium or high-velocity retail businessesAnalytical and data-driven decision maker with strong financial acumenAbility to manage complexity, influence cross-functional teams, and deliver outcomes in dynamic environmentsStrategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilityQualifications & ExperienceTotal 5+ years of experience with 2+ years in:Management consulting , orHigh-growth consumer / Jewellery / lifestyle / e-commerce categories with P&L ownership.Experience in scaling categories or improving profitability through data-led and customer-centric initiativesWe are looking candidates with strong problem solving skills with P&L Ownership.
