Role Overview
As the Sales Director – Cybersecurity Services, you will lead Mitigata’s entire cybersecurity vertical. This is a leadership role where you will drive the sales, consulting, and procurement of a comprehensive suite of cybersecurity services and solutions. This includes but is not limited to SOC-as-a-Service, Managed Cyber Security Services, SIEM, EDR, DLP, XDR, MDR, MDM, PIM/PAM, SASE, Threat Intelligence, vulnerability management, VAPT, Red Teaming, advanced threat protection tools.
You will oversee your team’s efforts in engaging clients through consulting engagements, driving the sales of cybersecurity solutions, and managing procurement from leading OEMs. Your responsibility will also include developing strategies for expanding our cybersecurity services portfolio across all sectors.
By collaborating closely with CISOs, partners, and the internal sales team, you will craft and execute a sales strategy that drives revenue growth, positions Mitigata as a market leader, and meets the evolving cybersecurity needs of enterprise, mid-market, and BFSI clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Revenue Generation
- Lead the sales efforts for Mitigata’s complete cybersecurity vertical, which includes consulting, services, and OEM procurement.
- Own the P&L for the cybersecurity vertical, ensuring the growth of revenue, profitability, and market share.
- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for a full range of cybersecurity services, targeting enterprise, mid-market, and BFSI clients.
- Drive the generation of the sales pipeline for cybersecurity solutions through direct outreach, partnerships, and marketing efforts.
- Identify and close large, complex deals that involve consulting services, cybersecurity solutions, and bundled offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to generate leads and convert opportunities into sales across various cybersecurity domains.
- Identify upsell opportunities and leverage existing audits, VAPT reports, and compliance gaps to expand the client base.
Consulting & Service Delivery
- Work with clients to provide expert cybersecurity consulting, identifying gaps in their cybersecurity posture and recommending appropriate services.
- Oversee the delivery of consulting services, ensuring client needs are met and projects are executed within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that consulting services are aligned with clients’ expectations and industry standards.
Procurement & OEM Management
- Manage relationships with OEMs and cybersecurity vendors to procure solutions that meet client needs.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, pricing, and terms with OEMs to ensure competitive offerings.
- Oversee the procurement process for cybersecurity products and services, ensuring that the right solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
Client & Ecosystem Engagement
- Represent Mitigata at industry events, webinars, and customer meetings to build relationships and enhance brand recognition.
- Engage with C-level executives (CISOs, CTOs, audit heads) to position Mitigata as a trusted cybersecurity services provider.
- Work closely with insurance and compliance teams to deliver bundled protection that includes both cybersecurity and cyber insurance.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity sales, consulting, and service delivery, with a proven track record in leading teams and driving growth in the cybersecurity services space.
- Deep understanding of the full cybersecurity stack, including SOC-as-a-Service, SIEM, EDR, DLP, XDR, MDR, MDM, PIM/PAM, SASE, VAPT, threat intelligence, security frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO 27001), and more.
- Experience managing OEM relationships and procurement processes for cybersecurity products and services.
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities, with experience leading multidisciplinary teams across sales, consulting, and procurement functions.
- Proven ability to manage large, complex enterprise deals, from consulting engagements to service delivery and procurement.
- Comfortable presenting to C-level executives, understanding their business challenges, and offering tailored cybersecurity solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record of scaling cybersecurity services and driving significant sales growth in a high-growth environment.
- Strong experience in building and executing sales strategies for a wide range of cybersecurity solutions, including both consulting and services.
- Expertise in negotiating and managing vendor relationships, particularly in the procurement of cybersecurity products and services.
- Experience in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies for cybersecurity solutions across multiple verticals.
