As we continue to elevate our impact and engage with global brands, we’re seeking a highly experienced Brand Sponsorship Manager to drive sponsorships, create strategic partnerships, and play a crucial role in generating revenue that aligns with our ambitious vision.
Role Overview
The Head of Partnerships and Sponsorships will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sponsorship revenue and establish long-term partnerships that enhance our brand presence. This is a key leadership role focused on building strategic alliances with brands, securing sponsorship deals, and maximizing revenue opportunities within the esports ecosystem. You will ensure that partnership strategies align with the organisation’s goals and deliver exceptional value to partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership Development:
Identify, prospect, and secure high-value sponsorship and partnership deals with leading brands and agencies.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential sponsors that align with the organisation’s brand image and strategic vision.
Foster relationships with key industry players to establish long-term alliances.
Sponsorship Sales & Negotiation:
Lead the end-to-end sponsorship sales process, including proposal development, contract negotiations, and deal closure.
Achieve revenue targets through sponsorship agreements and strategic partnerships.
Develop compelling sponsorship packages that leverage the organisation's tournament slots, brand assets, and audience reach.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
Create and implement a strategic roadmap to attract new partners and sponsors while retaining existing ones.
Craft compelling proposals and pitch decks to present sponsorship opportunities to potential partners.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to inform strategy.
Oversee the activation and execution of sponsorship agreements, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
Relationship Management:
Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with sponsors and partners to ensure satisfaction and drive renewals.
Act as the primary point of contact for sponsors, ensuring effective communication and alignment on objectives.
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, content) to integrate partner campaigns seamlessly into the organisation’s activities.
Performance Analytics & Reporting:
Track, analyse, and report on the performance of partnerships and sponsorships to optimize future deals.
Provide regular updates on revenue forecasts, partnership progress, and market insights.
Evaluate and optimize partnership strategies based on performance metrics and industry benchmarks.
Key Requirements
Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in partnerships, sponsorship sales, or business development, ideally within the esports, gaming, or sports industry.
Proven track record of securing high-value sponsorship deals and managing key accounts.
Strong network of contacts within the gaming, technology, and entertainment industries is a plus.
Skills:
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Results-oriented, with a proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
