We are committed to our clients’ long-term success and combine global reach with local client attention to serve them in over 50 countries around the globe.· Job Title: ITOM/CMDB Consultant· Location: Bangalore· Experience: 5+ yrs· Job Type : Contract to hire.· Notice Period:- Immediate joiners.Mandatory Skills:Lead the end-to-end greenfield implementation of ServiceNow CMDB and ITSM modules.Gather and analyze business and technical requirements in collaboration with key stakeholders.Design and configure ServiceNow ITSM modules including:Incident ManagementProblem ManagementChange ManagementRequest FulfillmentKnowledge ManagementArchitect and implement CMDB with proper CI class models, discovery, dependency mapping, and integrations.Utilize infrastructure knowledge to optimize Discovery configurations and troubleshooting connectivity issuesDemonstrate expert-level understanding of infrastructure components and security measures, including servers, networks, storage, firewalls, virtualization technologies, and cloud environmentsCollaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure proper access and permissions for Discovery (firewall/permissions)Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on CMDB initiativesUnderstanding ServiceNow Discovery and credential managementUnderstanding Service portfolio management and mapping on ServiceNow.Experience in setting up ITSM to ensure CMDB data supports efficient service delivery related to infrastructureDefine and document CMDB data models, ownership, and governance processes.Integrate ServiceNow with infrastructure monitoring, discovery tools, and third-party platforms (e.g., SCCM, SolarWinds, AWS, Azure).Establish and enforce best practices for ITIL-based processes and CMDB hygiene.Develop and execute test plans, user training, and change management strategies.Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvements to ServiceNow platform.Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.Required Skills and Experience:5+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform, with at least 2+ full-cycle implementations of ITSM and CMDB.Proven experience in greenfield or large-scale ServiceNow implementations.Deep understanding of ITIL processes and how they align with ServiceNow.Strong hands-on skills in configuring ServiceNow modules and workflows.Experience with CMDB Discovery, Service Mapping, and CI lifecycle management.Familiarity with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and data imports.Strong analytical, documentation, and project management skills.ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Required.ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM or CMDB) – Preferred.ITIL Foundation Certification – Preferred.Nice to Have:Experience in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, finance, government).Exposure to agile project methodologies.Knowledge of ServiceNow HAM/SAM, SecOps, or GRC modules.
