the role
As a Regional Human Resources Manager, you will lead and manage the complete HR and IR spectrum for approximately 450 employees, spanning seven units in the Animal Feed West region. This includes direct and indirect employees. Your role will involve overseeing recruitment for Sales and Non-Sales roles, driving performance and productivity, ensuring statutory compliances, maintaining smooth industrial relations and liaising with government authorities. You’ll work closely with Unit Heads and Team Leaders, providing support through site visits and participation in Management Review Meetings (MRM).
Key Responsibilities :
Ensure adherence to labour laws and regulations while maintaining robust coordination with government agencies
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of employees, from onboarding to exit
Oversee timely salary disbursement, wages and sales incentive payouts
Offer hands-on HR support by visiting units as needed
Implement key HR initiatives and projects rolled out by the Head Office
Maintain positive relations with worker representatives to ensure a harmonious workplace environment
Who are we looking for?
Education :
Postgraduate degree in HR (PGDBM-HR) or Master of Social Work (MSW).
Experience :
8–10 years in a Regional HR role, managing multiple units
Skills :
Proficiency in Marathi and a sound understanding of the Mathadi Act
Strong communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills
Expertise in HR compliance, workforce management and industrial relations
