Job Description :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to join our brokerage firm in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in accounting, be proficient in Tally, and possess a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and processes. This role involves assisting the senior accountant in day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and regulation compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
GST Filing : Assist in preparing and filing GST returns on time.
Financial Records : Maintain and update accounts, ledgers, and balance sheets.
Tally Operations : Operate Tally software efficiently for accounting tasks and reporting.
Payment Processing : Prepare cheques, manage cheque deposits, and handle payment records.
Salary Processing : Assist in the calculation and disbursement of employee salaries.
Banking Tasks : Liaise with banks for deposits, withdrawals, and account management.
Reconciliations : Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
Support Senior Accountant : Provide administrative and operational support for financial audits and compliance tasks.
Documentation : Maintain organized financial documentation and records for easy retrieval and compliance.
Expense Management : Track and report on company expenses and payments.
Requirements :
Experience : 1-3 years in accounting or a similar role.
Skills : Proficiency in Tally, strong knowledge of GST and accounting principles.
Attention to Detail : Accuracy in handling financial data and records.
Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Organized : Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field preferred.

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Accountant at DC Jain Real Estate Services located in Gurugram. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks, such as bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, and reconciling accounts. Additionally, they will assist in budgeting, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Qualifications
Bookkeeping, financial reporting, and account reconciliation skills
