The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise and a collaborative spirit, with a passion for optimising advanced, reliable, and scalable systems.Key Responsibilities:As a Tech Ops Specialist, the perfect candidate’s primary responsibilities will encompass various aspects of system maintenance and optimisation, ensuring the delivery of robust and high-quality solutions. The role will involve active participation in the day-to-day troubleshooting and issue resolution. Key responsibilities include:System Maintenance and Optimization:Ensure the smooth operation of our technical systems, conducting regular maintenance and optimising performance.Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:Respond to technical issues promptly, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:Work closely with other departments to understand their technical requirements and provide support in implementing solutions.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain and enrich accurate documentation of system configurations, issues, and resolutions.Continuous Learning and Technology Evaluation:Stay abreast of industry trends, assess emerging technologies, and make recommendations for the adoption of new tools or processes.Qualifications:Very good knowledge of My SQL with a minimum of 4-6 years of experience.Fluency in Linux commands / Windows environments.Experience with monitoring systems such as Nagios.Experience with ticketing/issue tracking systems such as Atlassian’s JIRA/ Clickup.Excellent command of the English language.Willingness to participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.A learning and growth-focused mindset and a strong desire to share your skills and learn from those around you.BenefitsOur team consists of passionate and highly aspirated professionals who strive for innovation daily.
