Position Overview:
ZuluTrade, a leader in the Social Trading and Wealth Management sector, is seeking an
experienced Tech Ops Specialist to join our innovative and vibrant team. The ideal candidate
will possess a combination of technical expertise and a collaborative spirit, with a passion for
optimising advanced, reliable, and scalable systems.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Tech Ops Specialist, the perfect candidates primary responsibilities will encompass various
aspects of system maintenance and optimisation, ensuring the delivery of robust and high-quality
solutions. The role will involve active participation in the day-to-day troubleshooting and issue
resolution. Key responsibilities include:
1. System Maintenance and Optimization:
Ensure the smooth operation of our technical systems, conducting regular
maintenance and optimizing performance.
2. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
Respond to technical issues promptly, diagnose problems, and implement
effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
Work closely with other departments to understand their technical requirements
and provide support in implementing solutions. - Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain and enrich accurate documentation of system configurations, issues, and
resolutions. - Continuous Learning and Technology Evaluation:
Stay abreast of industry trends, assess emerging technologies, and make
recommendations for the adoption of new tools or processes.
Qualifications:
Very good knowledge of MySQL with a minimum of 4-6 years of experience.
Fluency in Linux commands / Windows environments.
Experience with monitoring systems such as Nagios.
Experience with ticketing/issue tracking systems such as Atlassians JIRA/ Clickup.
Excellent command of the English language.
Willingness to participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
A learning and growth-focused mindset and a strong desire to share your skills and learn
from those around you.
