About the Role : The Director, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement will lead a team that supports global procurement, collaborate with cross-functional organizations to develop and implement effective procurement strategies, and maintain competitive advantage ensuring cost efficiency, supplier performance, and risk mitigation. Leadership : Provide guidance & thought leadership across all aspects of strategic sourcing and procurement. Attract, hire and develop talent to support the goals and mission of the team. Operations Management : Provide strategic oversight and governance for tactical procurement operations on a global scale. Strategic Stakeholder Management : Navigate, develop, and embed relationships at multiple levels within supply base and across stakeholder base. Seek to understand and recognize business needs and challenges, building these into strategic plans and initiatives. Localized Category & Strategy Leadership : Ensure best-in-class procurement category strategies are developed and implemented. Work in close partnership with global category leaders to develop and oversee an effective strategic sourcing and supplier management program. Continuous Improvement : Stay updated on procurement technology trends and support the implementation of procurement tools and systems that streamline processes and improve operations aligned to the strategy and direction of GSP technology and process improvement vision and roadmap. 12+ years of Strategic Sourcing and Procurement experience, including 6+ years in a leadership capacity ~ Broad category experience, including Technology, Marketing and Retail Operations preferred ~ Bachelor’s/master’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field ~ Experience in Category Management, Contract Management, Supplier Relationship Management and Purchasing ~ Strong understanding of business operations and financial principles, with the ability to assess market trends, develop budgets, and make data-driven decisions to achieve business objectives ~ Outstanding team building and leadership skills Exposure to rewarding career advancement opportunities A culture that promotes a healthy, fulfilling work/life balance Benefits package for all eligible full-time employees (including medical, vision and dental).
