We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Presales for Cybersecurity to lead our presales team, driving the technical aspects of our sales cycle. This leadership role is responsible for guiding presales engineers, collaborating closely with sales, product management, and other stakeholders to create tailored cybersecurity solutions for prospective clients. You will be the key technical point of contact for customers, ensuring that our cybersecurity offerings align with their business and technical needs, while driving revenue growth and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of presales engineers and architects focused on delivering cybersecurity solutions and services.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and create compelling proposals and presentations that align with business needs.
  • Provide expert-level technical expertise and guidance on all cybersecurity solutions, including risk management, threat detection, incident response, and compliance.
  • Act as the technical liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring a clear understanding of the customer’s environment and requirements.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (POC) engagements to showcase the value of our cybersecurity offerings.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, industry regulations, and threats to continuously evolve and improve the company's solutions.
  • Assist in the creation of sales collateral, proposals, and RFP responses, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with customer needs.
  • Support sales teams in driving strategic account planning, negotiations, and closing business.
  • Conduct technical workshops, training sessions, and customer briefings.
  • Collaborate with product management and development teams to ensure customer feedback and market demands are reflected in product roadmaps.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of competitor solutions and market positioning to advise on competitive differentiators.
  • Drive customer success by helping design solutions that meet both current and future security needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a presales engineering or technical sales role, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership position in the cybersecurity domain.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and compliance regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.).
  • Experience with cybersecurity solutions such as network security, cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), endpoint protection, encryption, threat intelligence, and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Expertise in creating technical proposals, presentations, and demos that effectively address customer business challenges.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including C-level executives.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically in complex situations.
  • Willingness to travel for client engagements and events as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar security certifications.
  • Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevSecOps practices.
  • Familiarity with advanced cybersecurity technologies, such as AI/ML in security, threat hunting, and automated incident response.
