We are seeking a experienced Associate Director of Sales - Banking to lead our sales efforts focused on the Banking and Financial Institutions sector. This role is pivotal in driving growth, acquiring high-value clients, and expanding our market presence for business information reports and other products within the Banking domain. As the Associate Director of Sales, you will be responsible for building strategic relationships, leading sales initiatives, and ensuring the achievement of ambitious revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the Banking sector, ensuring alignment with the company's business goals. Identify and prioritize opportunities to target leading Banking clients, with a focus on banking institutions.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management : Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers across banks, NBFCs, and other financial institutions.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, driving a high-performance culture. Provide guidance and training to enhance the team's ability to close high-value deals.
Market Intelligence and Strategy: Stay updated on BFSI market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities. Leverage market insights to fine-tune sales pitches and strategies.
Sales Operations and Performance Management: Set sales targets, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions to ensure goals are met.
Critical Client Focus: Prioritize high-value or critical clients to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of business information reports. Act as the escalation point for any client-related issues and ensure quick resolutions.
Qualifications:
Over 10 years of proven sales experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles within the Banking sector.
Strong understanding of the banking and financial services ecosystem, including credit management and risk solutions.
Demonstrated success in acquiring and managing high-value BFSI clients, achieving and exceeding revenue goals.
Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving challenges.
Established relationships with senior leaders in the BFSI sector.
