• Lead pre-sales activities for multiple hybrid cloud propositions, including operations excellence, integration & expansion, hosting & migration, and cognitive database operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling value propositions and solutions tailored to client needs.
• Drive the technical sales strategy, supporting the sales team in securing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and lead the pre-sales strategy for hybrid cloud operations excellence, integration & expansion, hosting & migration, and cognitive database operations.
• Partner with sales teams to understand client requirements and develop customized solutions that address their specific business challenges.
• Provide technical leadership during client engagements, including presentations, demonstrations, and technical workshops.
• Develop and maintain pre-sales collateral such as solution architectures, proposals, and cost-benefit analyses.
• Act as a trusted advisor, offering insights on best practices and emerging trends in hybrid cloud management, integration, and database operations.
• Collaborate with product and service teams to ensure proposed solutions align with current offerings and capabilities.
• Engage with clients to articulate the value of hybrid cloud services in enhancing business performance and operational excellence.
• Lead the technical response to RFPs, RFIs, and other client inquiries, ensuring thorough and accurate submissions.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies, tools, and methodologies in cloud operations, integration, migration, and cognitive database management.
• Drive continuous improvement by refining pre-sales processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a strong pre-sales practice within the organization.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in pre-sales, technical sales, or related roles within the cloud services industry.
• Proven experience leading pre-sales engagements for complex cloud solutions across multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of cloud services (Iaa S, Paa S, Saa S) and best practices for hybrid cloud operations, integration, migration, and cognitive database management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
Preferred Certifications:
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
• Certified Cloud Sales Professional (CCSP) or equivalent
