Job Overview:
As a Social Media Associate, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing content for our social media platforms. You’ll play a critical role in engaging our audience, growing our online presence, and maintaining our brand voice. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about storytelling, trends, and connecting with audiences online.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Develop engaging, original, and visually compelling content (graphics, videos, posts) aligned with our brand.
Platform Management: Manage day-to-day activities across social platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn), including posting, commenting, and sharing content.
Audience Engagement: Actively interact with followers, respond to comments, and foster community by engaging in meaningful conversations.
Analytics & Reporting: Track social media metrics, analyze performance, and prepare weekly/monthly reports to optimize strategies and drive growth.
Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with trends, platform updates, and industry insights to keep our social presence fresh and relevant.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and design teams to align social media content with broader marketing initiatives.
Campaign Support: Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns, script writing, including paid and organic initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience managing social media platforms for a brand, agency, or in a related role.
Skills:
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Proficiency in design tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and native platform insights.
- Creative thinking with an eye for detail and consistency.
Preferred:
- Experience with short-form video creation (e.g., Reels, YT shorts).
- Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing is a plus.
