About the Department:

The corporate finance department in the company handles all the financial and investment decisions. It primarily focuses on maximizing shareholder value through long-term and short-term financial planning and the implementation of various strategies. It aims to maximize the value of a business through the planning and execution of resources.

The Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Global Tax Controller to support tax compliance, reporting, and planning across multiple jurisdictions, including the US, Singapore, India, and the UK. The role involves working on direct, indirect, and federal taxation, ensuring regulatory compliance, assisting with audits, and supporting tax optimization strategies

Key Role Deliverables:

Handling GST/VAT, sales tax, and other indirect tax filings

Handling SEZ Compliance and reporting

Assisting in statutory, internal, and tax audits and preparing audit schedules and coordinating with auditors

Monitoring capitalization, depreciation, and asset disposals

Ensuring timely closure of audit queries and implementation of audit recommendations

Assisting in researching and analyzing tax implications of business operations and transactions.

Assisting in preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual tax provisions under US GAAP/IFRS/IND As

Maintaining tax records and ensuring timely submission of required filings

Supporting internal and external tax audits by preparing the required documentation

Assisting in managing tax disputes, assessments, and queries from tax authorities

Identifying potential tax risks and assist in implementing mitigation strategies
