Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to drive the development and success of our AI-powered visual commerce platform. In this role, you will lead the engineering team, prioritize features, and work with the management team to deliver innovative solutions that exceed our clients' expectations.
Technical Leadership
• Have an understanding of Machine Learning, Deep Learning and AI concepts
• Architect and design scalable ML systems and data pipelines
• Lead development of AI/ML solutions from prototype to production
• Establish best practices for ML model deployment and monitoring
• Guide technical decisions around model selection, training, and optimization
• Ensure ML systems meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements
Team Leadership
• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers
• Foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
• Participate in hiring and growing the engineering team
• Remove blockers and enable team productivity
Project Execution
• Drive successful delivery of complex technical projects
• Balance technical trade-offs with business requirements
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams on technical feasibility
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security
Process & Innovation
• Implement and improve engineering processes and practices
• Lead technical planning and estimation sessions
• Drive adoption of new technologies when beneficial
• Maintain documentation of system architecture and technical decisions
Minimum Qualifications
• 5+ years of software engineering work experience, including hands-on technical management building AI based solutions, web based infrastructure.
• 5+ years experience coding in one of the following languages: C++, Java, Python and/or PHP.
• Strong understanding of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and AI concepts
• Experience building and deploying production ML systems
• Demonstrated experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management.
• BTech. in Computer Science (In lieu of degree, 4+ years work experience).
• Understanding of the current AI based Image generation technologies.  Flock is a venture
