Craft My Plate is an innovative startup revolutionizing the bulk food/catering industry by offering seamless and personalized bulk food solutions. We’re building intuitive digital products that simplify the catering experience for individuals and businesses. We are looking for a talented Product Designer to craft exceptional user experiences for our web and mobile platforms.


Role Overview

As a Product Designer , you will take ownership of the end-to-end design process, creating user-centered solutions that drive business goals. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our digital platforms are visually appealing, highly functional, and aligned with user needs.


Key Responsibilities

1. User-Centered Design

  • Conduct user research to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
  • Translate insights into user personas, journey maps, and use cases.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that meet user requirements.

2. Product Design Execution

  • Design intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces for mobile and web applications.
  • Define and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across the platform.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.

3. Collaboration and Feedback

  • Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Marketing to define design requirements.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback, usability testing, and analytics data.
  • Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders with clear rationale and insights.

4. Usability Testing and Iteration

  • Conduct usability testing sessions to validate design solutions.
  • Analyze user behavior and feedback to improve and optimize existing designs.


Qualifications

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • Design Expertise:
  • 3+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing mobile and web application designs.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
  • Experience with prototyping tools and methodologies for usability testing.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong presentation skills to articulate design decisions to stakeholders.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML, CSS) for better collaboration with developers.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
  • Experience in designing for startups or fast-paced environments.
