IT Value Identification: IT Due-Diligence – IT Cost-Cube Assessment – Transformation Health Check / Project Review – Cybersecurity Review – Architecture Assessment – IPO / Exit Readiness
IT Value Creation: 100 Day Value Creation Plan – Transformation Phase 0 Foundation – Transformation Project Recovery Plan – IT Operating Model Definition – Architecture Simplification – Outsourcing / Smart-Sourcing Design – Vendor Contracting – Vendor Consolidation
IT Value Realisation: Separation – Carve-out / TSA Exit – Business & IT Integration – Transformation Assurance – Design Authority – Vendor Management
Industry Specific Services: Digital BSS/ OSS – Network Separation – SCM Transformation – ERP Transformation (incl. S/4) – Digital Business Build
We are looking for a dynamic Commercial and Contract Management Lead to drive revenue generation and project execution across our UK, European, and US markets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial negotiation and contract management, ideally with experience from leading technology vendors or consulting firms. This role will be pivotal in enhancing our program value delivery, ensuring optimal vendor partnerships, and achieving significant cost savings for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Commercial and Contract Management:
o Develop and execute a strategic approach to the selection, negotiation, and contracting of agreements with key technology vendors (e.g., Microsoft, SAP, Salesforce) and implementation partners (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte).
o Ensure the creation of comprehensive, compliant contracts that optimize commercial terms while mitigating risks.
o Provide expert guidance to clients on best practices for contract management and vendor governance.
2. Procurement and Cost Optimization:
o Lead IT cost-out initiatives and procurement workstreams within due diligence and value creation programs to identify and realize opportunities for IT spend reduction.
o Conduct thorough supplier assessments to ensure alignment with program requirements and strategic objectives.
o Deliver IT cost-benchmarking analyses to size improvement opportunities and ensure competitive pricing for client services.
3. Project Delivery and Client Engagement:
o Collaborate with Program Directors and Client Leads to deliver over EUR 50 M in client value creation
within the first year.
o Manage the procurement process to facilitate clarity and timely decision-making among stakeholders. o Develop and lead diagnostics and implementation projects focused on procurement and cost-out
strategies.
4. Impact Measurement and Client Satisfaction:
o Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings within vendor contracts to enhance client outcomes.
Role
o Build diagnostic assets and methodologies to scale Alysian's offerings across a broader client base. o Ensure client impact, aiming for a satisfaction and loyalty score exceeding 9/10 by actively steering
project content and quality.
5. Continuous Improvement and Knowledge Sharing:
o Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing among teams to leverage insights from procurement and contract management best practices.
o Implement systems for ongoing improvement of procurement processes and client engagement strategies, ensuring sustained high performance across projects.
This role will be instrumental in shaping our commercial strategy and enhancing our clients' operational efficiencies, positioning Alysian as a leader in the consulting space.
Requirements:
Overall 12+ years’ experience, including 5+ years of experience at consulting firm (e.g., MBB, Kearney, A&M, Efficio, Big 4, Accenture) and/ or 10+ years of experience in IT Category Management (e.g., Sourcing,
Procurement or Contract Manager or Procurement Consulting)
Lead negotiator for at least 3 system integrator negotiations including for ERP implementation or carve-out for EUR50 M
Lead negotiator for at least 3 technology vendor negotiations (e.g., SAP) for EUR50 M
Analytical experience leading procurement diagnostics - incl. cleansing data, building spend cubes, translating
into initiatives with sized potential
Detailed knowledge of IT categories with relevant benchmarks and commercial / demand/ process levers
Experience in Telco or CPG
Nice to have: Experience in PE
Nice to have: One additional language (e.g., Spanish, German, French, Dutch)
