Air travel specialists are sought after for their expertise in managing complex itineraries, booking flights, and delivering exceptional customer service. As an air travel specialist at Vara⁵, you will be responsible for crafting bespoke travel experiences that meet the discerning needs of our clients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Flight Operations: Manage flight bookings, exchanges, cancellations, and ticket issuance via GDS systems.
  • Itinerary Planning: Handle complex multi-city, international, and round-the-world itineraries with precision.
  • Fare Optimization: Apply airline fare rules and interline agreements to deliver the best outcomes for clients.
  • PNR Management: Action PNRs in line with defined SLAs and ensure complete documentation across systems.
  • Customer Service: Coordinate fare optimization, refunds, and fare disputes directly with airline partners.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • 5+ years of experience in air travel ticketing for HNI clients, travel agencies, OTAs, or corporate desks.
  • GDS proficiency in at least one system (Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo).
  • International Travel Knowledge: Deep understanding of international travel, fare construction, and route planning.
  • IATA Certification: IATA Foundation or Consultant Certification is required.
  • Polished Communication: Polished verbal communication, attention to detail, and calm under pressure.
