Microsoft Purview Consultant

We are seeking an experienced consultant to lead the design, implementation and adoption of Microsoft Purview solutions across enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance, Data Governance or Information Protection, with a focus on enabling strong data governance, security and compliance within Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the deployment and management of Microsoft Purview solutions for data governance, compliance and risk management.
  • Define and implement data classification, labeling and protection policies across Microsoft 365, hybrid and cloud-native environments.
  • Configure and manage DLP, insider risk management, records management and eDiscovery in Purview.
  • Integrate Purview with Microsoft Defender, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune and Exchange for end-to-end compliance enforcement.
  • Assess current data estate, identify compliance gaps and propose remediation strategies.
  • Support data cataloging, lineage tracking and metadata management to strengthen governance.
  • Collaborate with security, compliance and business teams to ensure alignment with regulatory standards (GDPR, HIPAA, ISO, SOX etc.).
  • Prepare and deliver technical documentation, training and adoption workshops.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Purview and its integrations.
