Data Governance Expert Sought

Our organization requires a seasoned Data Governance Architect to lead the development of enterprise-wide data governance strategies, architecture frameworks, and metadata models. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining data governance solutions across various industries.

About the Role:

  • Design and develop comprehensive data governance architectures that align with business objectives.
  • Evaluate and recommend data governance tools to meet organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Maintain data compliance with relevant regulations, including GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, and SOX.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance techniques and methodologies.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in data governance architecture and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience in design and implementation of architectural patterns for data quality, metadata management, data lineage, data security, and master data management.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Collibra workflows, APIs, metadata integration, policy automation.
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines, data lineage capture, and data integration tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java for integration and automation.

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders, requiring excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), big data technologies (Hadoop/Spark), and data visualization tools is an asset.
