Warehouse Operations Specialist

Our organization is seeking an experienced and skilled specialist to ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse management system. This role is critical for ensuring continuous improvement and optimization.

  • Provide level 2 and 3 support for warehouse operations, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues to minimize downtime and operational impact.
  • Analyze and understand functional supply chain systems to effectively address user requirements and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with implementation teams on new warehouse setups, contributing expertise to system configuration and data migration.
  • Design, develop, and enhance warehouse management modules, focusing on picking, packing, and shipping functionalities.
  • Develop and enhance interfaces with host systems using technologies like API, XML, and JSON, ensuring seamless data flow.
  • Perform development and enhancements within warehouse management platforms, leveraging a strong understanding of the platform.
  • Design, develop, and optimize reports using business intelligence tools.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and enhance label printing solutions.
  • Conduct database troubleshooting, including indexing, performance tuning, and automation.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of overall experience with at least 5+ years of relevant experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain systems and warehouse operations.
  • Proven experience as an implementation team member, with exposure to building new warehouses.
  • In-depth understanding and enhancement exposure of picking, packing, and shipping modules.
  • Experience in building new interfaces or enhancing existing ones with host systems.
  • Good understanding of warehouse management platform development and enhancements.
  • Sound understanding of warehouse architecture and reporting tools.
  • Exposure to other warehouse management modules like labor and yard management is a significant advantage.
  • Technical skills: programming languages, business intelligence tools, label printing solution setup and enhancement, API, XML, JSON interface setup, building, and customizing import systems, database troubleshooting, indexing, performance tuning, and automation.
