Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join our team at Alten India. This role involves working with foam and complete seat designing and development, with a focus on product design & development experience in automotive seating foams.

  • Developing designs for foam components using UG or CATIA modeling and Surfacing tools.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure feasibility of manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Working with International Tier 1 and OEMS to drive innovation and quality in seat design.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing foam components for interior seats.
  • Leading the design process from concept to production-ready designs.
  • Collaborating with manufacturers to ensure efficient production processes.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in foam and complete seat designing and development.
  • Post Diploma, B.E. in Mechanical, Automobile, Production and Industrial Engineering.
  • Excellent knowledge of UG or CATIA modeling and Surfacing tools.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and assembly feasibility studies.
  • Experience working with International Tier 1 and OEMS.
