Occupancy Planner Role

The position of Occupancy Planner is a senior-level role that entails providing strategic occupancy planning expertise. This involves leveraging a deep understanding of clients' space supply and demand to develop scenario and occupancy plans for their portfolio in a designated region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to lead through influence, expert-level data analytical skills, and the ability to articulate stories through data. Additionally, they should be attentive to detail and accuracy, particularly numbers and spatial creativity.

They will also be highly organized, demonstrating a high level of performance in project budgeting and scheduling. A working knowledge of occupancy utilization, office design principles, and trends such as the mobile or collaborative workplace is preferred.

The role requires fostering critical relationships between various individuals and organizations, including Corporate Real Estate, Business Unit leadership, Corporate Finance group, Project management, Move coordination and facility management teams, and other members of the occupancy planning team.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and resolving planning forecast requirements, concerns, and issues, collecting headcount forecasts and resolving discrepancies, gathering top-down headcount and growth projections, reviewing planning strategies that drive construction projects, and supporting the implementation of these projects.

Other key responsibilities include developing migration plans, conducting facility audits, and ensuring the development of portfolio strategy plans across separate locations.
