Senior Brand Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Brand Strategist to drive end-to-end strategic planning for all brands in the portfolio. This role will involve working with client specialist teams and external partners to conceptualize, develop, and bring partnership ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive brand strategies that meet business objectives.
  • Work closely with senior decision makers, CMOs, and CEOs at client end to present WPP Medias perspective and become a trusted partner in their growth plans.
Measures of Success:
  • Full immersion in strategic brand challenges & campaigns within three months.
  • Superior understanding of audiences, category, competitive landscape, best practices, and growth models to be applied to the client portfolio.
  • Strong understanding of brand challenges, consumers, cultural activation/partnership spaces, and regional nuances.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of brand challenges, consumers, cultural trends, and regional nuances.
  • Ability to interpret data/tool outputs and drive storytelling to develop E2E briefs on brands.
  • Mentorship of the team to proactively & reactively work on E2E briefs within deadlines.
  • Effective communication of emerging opportunities and best-in-class work with client teams.
Skills and Experience:
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong ability to dissect complex brand, market, competitive, and internal data to build brand strategy and achieve brand goals.
  • Expertise in tools like TGI, GWI, and AOP & scenario planning.
  • Experience in media and platforms.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
