We are seeking a skilled Location Acquisition Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

  1. Market Research and Location Identification:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential locations for new retail stores, analyzing local demographics, footfall potential, and competitive landscapes to inform decision-making.

Site Visits and Initial Assessments:

  • Conduct site visits to assess property suitability based on location, accessibility, and visibility, providing detailed reports with key findings and recommendations for shortlisted properties.

Negotiation Support:

  • Support senior managers in negotiating lease terms, rental agreements, or purchase contracts with landlords or brokers, ensuring seamless communication and gathering necessary documents related to property acquisition and agreements.

Coordination and Documentation:

  • Work closely with legal and finance teams to compile and review documents related to property acquisition and agreements, maintaining updated records of property details, contracts, and approvals.

Vendor and Broker Relations:

  • Build relationships with brokers, agents, and developers to stay informed about new property listings, coordinating and managing broker communications and property inquiries effectively.

Regulatory and Compliance Assistance:

  • Ensure all legal, zoning, and regulatory requirements are met for selected properties, supporting the team in obtaining necessary permits and approvals.

Reporting and Feedback:

  • Prepare regular updates and summaries on property acquisition progress for the team or management, providing feedback on challenges and opportunities during the acquisition process.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of real estate laws and property regulations.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
