Job Overview:

We are seeking a mid-level legal professional to join our team, with a primary focus on managing property transactions and conveyancing. The role involves end-to-end management of real estate and property law, including drafting, negotiation, due diligence, and compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Draft, vet, and negotiate agreements for property acquisitions, rentals, and disposals, including due diligence and risk assessment.
  • Provide legal support for real estate transactions, including title verification, encumbrance checks, and registration formalities.
  • Liaise with external counsels, government bodies, and regulatory authorities on property-related issues.
  • Maintain legal records and contract database for all real estate transactions.
  • Conduct legal due diligence of properties and advise management accordingly.

Key Requirements:

  • LLB degree with 4–10 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong exposure to real estate, property law, and conveyancing.
  • Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating leave & license agreements, lease deeds, and sale transactions.
  • Working knowledge of RERA, municipal, and development authority regulations.
  • Experience handling property registrations, title verification, stamp duty, and due diligence processes.
  • Ability to liaise with government authorities and external counsel effectively.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in maintaining legal trackers, records, and documentation.
  • Excellent English proficiency (verbal and written).
