Lead Messaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Messaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining Microsoft Exchange in a hybrid on-prem/cloud environment.

Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting and resolving escalated Exchange issues, as well as assisting in engineering mail connectivity solutions and integrating with third-party Exchange-related software. You will also be responsible for managing distribution group automation solutions and Mimecast email gateway security.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a solid understanding of Microsoft 365 suite of products, as well as experience with Active Directory, networking, Windows servers, and DNS. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft Exchange in a hybrid on-prem/cloud environment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated Exchange issues
  • Assist in engineering mail connectivity solutions
  • Integrate with third-party Exchange-related software
  • Manage distribution group automation solutions
  • Manage Mimecast email gateway security solution
Requirements
  • Certification and experience in enterprise IT operational standards
  • Ability to effectively analyze complex messaging issues for resolution
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Exchange in an enterprise environment
  • Experience supporting an Exchange environment
