Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect with 6–8 years of experience in designing, developing, and managing enterprise data solutions on the Google Cloud Platform.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing end-to-end data solutions aligning business and technical requirements, defining data models, storage strategies, ingestion, processing, and consumption frameworks.

Additionally, the successful Data Architect will implement data lakes, warehouses, and marts using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Composer. They will collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into scalable architectures.

A strong governance, security, and compliance framework for cloud-based platforms is also a requirement. The ability to optimize data workflows, query performance, and storage costs in the GCP environment is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design end-to-end data solutions aligning business and technical requirements.
  • Define data models, storage strategies, ingestion, processing, and consumption frameworks.
  • Implement data lakes, warehouses, and marts using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Composer.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into scalable architectures.
  • Design governance, security, and compliance frameworks for cloud-based platforms.
  • Optimize data workflows, query performance, and storage costs in the GCP environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 6–8 years of experience in data architecture and engineering roles, with at least 3 years hands-on on GCP.
  • Strong expertise in GCP data services: BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer, Data Catalog.
  • Proficient in data modeling, warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT pipelines, and big data processing frameworks.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Hands-on experience in data security, encryption, access control, and governance on GCP.
  • GCP Professional Data Engineer / Cloud Architect certification is a plus.
