Proposal Development Specialist

The primary function of a Proposal Development Specialist involves providing comprehensive proposal support and independently managing the production of high-quality responses to RFPs for a US wealth business.

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics is preferred; other postgraduate degrees may also be considered.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing RFPs and client materials to gain a thorough understanding of the scope and requirements.
  • Creating proposal templates aligned with client requirements and company branding standards.
  • Collaborating with the pursuit team to prepare competitive proposals and RFP/RFI responses.
  • Managing content management activities, including collecting and updating content for the proposal language database.
  • Uploading final deliverables to an internal SharePoint site or online procurement sites.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 5-8 years of experience in a pre-sales/bid management environment.
  • Experience working as part of bid teams in a professional services environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
