Deliver Value Through Data Driven Insights

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering cutting-edge analytics services to stakeholders, enabling them to make fact-based decisions. They will generate pricing/trading/forecasting insights and recommendations to optimize sales performance KPIs.
  • They will leverage and create pricing and markdown optimization analytics strategies for all stores and product categories. This includes supporting with data quality checks of new data sets and quality checks of pricing strategies.
  • Key responsibilities include performing and automating recurring analyses such as strategy performance insights, and pricing and stock data analytics.

Drive Strategic Pricing Decisions

The successful candidate will drive recommendations on the best/optimal pricing strategy across stores and product divisions. They will support in stakeholder understanding of analysis and reports.

Enhance Business Acumen

They will create analytical reports on pricing and markdown performance in line with the KPI framework, showing the impact of the strategy. Deliver key insights to stakeholders and propose actions to drive sales, profitability, consumer experience, and brand value.

Requirements:

  • A university degree in a field related to Business, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent is required.
  • The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of experience in Analytics, with specific experience in Pricing Analytics and Forecasting being a plus.
  • Experience in digital sales, digital marketing, e-commerce, and/or pricing analytics in a brand environment is also beneficial.

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and understand complex data and algorithms.
  • Strong communication skills are essential, comfortable presenting findings to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely.
  • Strong business understanding and ability to understand client s business problems are also crucial.

Technical Requirements

  • Experience with clustering and optimization techniques and analytics tools such as Alteryx and Excel is a must.
  • Experience with any pricing optimization software is a plus.
