Software Asset Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Software Asset Manager to lead our SAM efforts and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ServiceNow SAM Pro development, license compliance, and cost optimization.

Job Description:
Our company is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Software Asset Manager to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting Software Asset Management solutions using ServiceNow SAM Pro. You will work closely with stakeholders to deliver SAM insights and dashboards, ensure compliance with software vendor license models, and collaborate on audit, renewal, and optimization activities. You will also configure and customize ServiceNow SAM Pro modules, integrate SAM with CMDB, ITSM, and procurement systems, automate license tracking, reconciliation, and reporting, and support audits, renewals, and optimization activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow SAM Pro development, at least 4+ years of experience in SAM development, and a deep understanding of ITIL & ITAM frameworks. You should also have excellent reporting, scripting, and integration skills, as well as experience with license compliance, vendor audits, and cost optimization. Additionally, you should be familiar with industry-standard tools and technologies and be able to adapt to changing business requirements. You should have a strong track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines and be able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. You should also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
