Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our IT asset management initiatives. This role involves overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware, software, and cloud-based resources. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in software license compliance, SAM, or ITAM, with a strong understanding of licensing requirements for major vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews and assessments to identify risks and ensure adherence to vendor stipulations.
  • Develop and maintain accurate inventories, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and vendor agreements.
  • Optimize software utilization to drive cost efficiency and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Provide strategic guidance on IT asset lifecycle management, from procurement to decommissioning.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement policies that enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Advise on emerging technologies, including cloud and hybrid environments, to support scalable and compliant IT strategies.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of information security management systems (ISMS).
  • Ensure practices align with data privacy regulations, such as GDPR or CCPA.
  • Implement best practices to track, manage, and optimize assets throughout their lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Up to 10 years of experience in software license compliance, SAM, or ITAM.
  • In-depth knowledge of software licensing and compliance requirements for major vendors.
  • Familiarity with IT networks, Active Directory concepts, and their impact on software licensing and compliance.
  • Experience or exposure to IT advisory, ISO 27001, or data privacy frameworks is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of cloud licensing models and their integration with SAM/ITAM practices is a strong asset.
