Graduate Trainee Position Overview

The Graduate Trainee role is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to acquire valuable skills and experience in a dynamic logistics environment.

This position involves working closely with senior team members to manage daily operations at Container Freight Stations (CFS) and depots. Key responsibilities include coordinating cargo movements, container handling, and warehouse management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • On-Ground Experience in CFS and Depot Operations
    • Assist in managing daily operations at CFS and depots to ensure seamless cargo movement.
    • Support the team in coordinating container handling and warehouse management.
    • Learn processes of inbound/outbound freight, documentation, and inventory management.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Collect, organize, and analyze operational data from CFS and depots to support decision-making.
    • Prepare regular reports and performance dashboards using data analytics tools.
  • MS Office Expertise
    • Use MS Excel to manage operational data and perform calculations.
    • Create professional PowerPoint presentations to present findings and updates to management.
  • Presentation & Communication
    • Prepare and present reports on depot and CFS operations to internal teams and stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operational processes and identify improvements.
  • Project Support
    • Assist in special projects related to CFS operations, warehouse efficiency, and depot management.
    • Work under supervision to achieve project goals and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Learning & Development
    • Participate in training programs focused on logistics, CFS operations, and industry best practices.
    • Actively seek learning opportunities to understand logistics workflows and supply chain management.
