Government Grants & Awards Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our government grants and awards strategy.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing government funding and navigating complex policy frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive government grants and awards strategy to drive brand visibility and unlock strategic growth opportunities.
  • Research and identify relevant government policies, grants, certifications, and incentive schemes.
  • Craft compelling award entries and sponsorship pitches that meet the highest standards of excellence.
  • Negotiate and manage end-to-end sponsorship agreements while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain relationships with award committees, event organisers, and industry associations.
  • Track submission deadlines and deliverables for awards and sponsorships.
Requirements:
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience in government relations, marketing, or public policy.
  • A degree in Law, Communications, Public Policy, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong research, writing, and documentation skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to craft award entries, sponsorship pitches, or government grant applications.
  • Understanding of legal, policy, or regulatory frameworks—especially relating to government programs, sponsorships, and compliance.
  • A proactive, relationship-oriented mindset with strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple high-stakes deadlines with minimal oversight.
  • A passion for building brand visibility and unlocking strategic growth opportunities.
