Senior Portfolio Manager - Investment Strategy

This role will provide critical support in the analysis and research of investment opportunities, risk management, and portfolio monitoring across various asset classes. The incumbent will be responsible for analyzing performance data, developing investment strategies, and communicating with stakeholders to gather and clarify client-specific information.

  • Analyze performance of different investment options and overall portfolio
  • Communicate with investment teams to gather and/or clarify client specific data for reporting

The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of global capital markets, working knowledge of various asset classes, and investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for mentoring and leading a team of analysts across different processes
  • Own accountability by being able to help teams troubleshoot issues on projects
  • Responsible for driving Process Improvements
  • Manage relationship with senior management
  • Ensuring exceptional client experience
  • Ensuring compliance with all internal and client policies
  • Providing timely updates to stakeholders

What you need to have:

  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Graduate (B.com, BBA or equivalent)/ Master's degree in finance (in addition to accounting, economics or mathematics) and progress towards CFA and CIPM will be preferred
  • Knowledge to Python and SQL
  • Strong understanding and proper usage of investment-related terminology in written and verbal communication in English
  • Experience in analyzing investment portfolios or researching investment managers located outside of India
  • Computations of returns (money weighted / time weighted) for Defined Benefit and NFP clients
  • Exposure to Global Capital Markets and working knowledge of various Asset Classes and Investment Strategies and performance attribution
  • Good command on MS Office applications (MS-Excel, MS-Word, PowerPoint)
