Job Purpose


We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Business Growth Officer to lead our business development efforts, driving strategic growth initiatives and ensuring the successful acquisition and retention of clients.



Key Responsibilities



  • Team Leadership

    • Supervise and mentor a team of business development professionals to achieve sales targets.
    • Set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and support the professional growth of team members.
    • Conduct regular team meetings to align strategies and review progress.

  • Strategic Planning

    • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives.
    • Identify new business opportunities and markets, and devise plans to target them.
    • Collaborate with senior management to align business development initiatives with company goals.

  • Client Engagement

    • Build and nurture relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
    • Oversee the client acquisition process, ensuring that the team delivers a high level of service and meets client expectations.
    • Engage with high-profile clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.

  • Sales Management

    • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met.
    • Provide guidance and support to the team in closing deals and negotiating contracts.
    • Develop and manage a sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of business opportunities.

  • Market Research & Analysis

    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
    • Conduct research to identify potential clients and emerging market trends.
    • Use data-driven insights to refine business development strategies and improve lead generation efforts.

  • CRM & Reporting

    • Oversee the maintenance of accurate client records and sales activities in the CRM system.
    • Prepare and present detailed reports on business development activities, sales progress, and market trends to senior management.
    • Ensure the team adheres to best practices in CRM usage and data management.

  • Collaboration

    • Work closely with the marketing team to align campaigns with business development goals.
    • Partner with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business development processes and tools.

Requirements



  • Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales management, preferably in the IT industry.

  • Skills and Qualifications

    • Proven track record of leading successful business development teams and achieving sales targets.
    • Strong understanding of IT services and solutions.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
    • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage a team across different time zones.
    • Flexibility to work during US business hours.
