Job Title: Litigation Associate

Overview of the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Associate to join our team. As a Legal Associate, you will be responsible for providing legal support to our organization and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management & Legal Documentation:
  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders;
  • Conducting legal research and supporting the preparation of briefs and reports;
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to mitigate contractual risks and optimize terms that protect the organization's interests.
  • Compliance:
  • Assisting in monitoring and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards;
  • Staying updated on legal developments, assessing their impact, and providing guidance to the organization;
  • Assisting in responding to regulatory inquiries and audits;
  • Collaborating with different departments to ensure company-wide compliance with legal and regulatory requirements;
  • Managing and maintaining the company's statutory registers and records;
  • Organizing board and committee meetings, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements;
  • Handling filings with regulatory authorities, including annual returns and other statutory submissions.
  • Corporate Governance:
  • Supporting the legal team in corporate governance matters, including board resolutions, meeting minutes, and regulatory filings;
  • Ensuring proper maintenance of corporate records and documentation.
  • Risk Mitigation:
  • Assisting in identifying potential legal and regulatory risks, proactively assessing their impact on the organization, and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Processes and Communications:
  • Assisting in executing legal and compliance tasks efficiently and in line with best practices;
  • Providing support in drafting legal documents and maintaining clear communication within the legal team and other departments;
