Hotel Reservation Manager Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage room reservations, group bookings, and event inquiries via phone, email, and online travel agencies (OTAs).
  • Provide accurate information on availability, pricing, packages, and promotions to guests and corporate clients.
  • Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings by upselling hotel services and promoting special offers.
  • Coordinate with operational teams to ensure guest requirements are met efficiently.
  • Maintain updated records of reservations, guest preferences, and reports to inform future marketing strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and repeat guests to drive loyalty and revenue growth.
  • Handle cancellations, modifications, and special requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor OTA bookings, guest reviews, and respond promptly to maintain high standards of customer service.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in reservations, sales, or guest relations within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in multiple languages are essential for effective interaction with diverse guest profiles.
  • Familiarity with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and OTA platforms is necessary for efficient operations.
  • A results-driven, customer-focused, and detail-oriented approach is crucial for success in this role.
  • The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment is essential for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
