Product Strategist

About this role
">- Maintain product backlogs, documentation, and gather requirements for our AI/ML-driven product.
- Develop user stories, translate business needs into actionable product roadmaps, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Closely interact with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and understanding of product vision.
Key Responsibilities:
">- Define Product Vision & Roadmap: Translate business goals into a compelling product vision that aligns with company strategy.
- Prioritize the Product Backlog: Own and groom the backlog to ensure the highest-value AI/ML features are prioritized for delivery.
- Bridge Tech and Business Teams: Facilitate communication between stakeholders and ML engineering teams to drive mutual understanding.
- Convert Requirements into User Stories: Write clear, testable, and technically-informed user stories and acceptance criteria for ML features.
- Collaborate with AI/ML Engineers: Work closely with data scientists and ML engineers to define model objectives, datasets, and evaluation goals.
- Evaluate Model Performance & Impact: Assess the outputs of ML models using business-relevant metrics (accuracy, ROI, usability, fairness).
- Drive Agile Ceremonies: Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and review meetings tailored for AI/ML project workflows.
- Manage Stakeholder Expectations: Communicate progress, trade-offs, and risks effectively to business teams and project managers.
- Validate Deliverables: Ensure model outputs and ML features meet business needs, user expectations, and ethical standards.
- Support Go-to-Market & Adoption: Collaborate with marketing, customer success, and support teams to drive internal/external adoption of AI features.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
">- Total experience in industry: 5-12 years.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML fundamentals.
- Experience with data-driven product development.
- Ability to define and evaluate AI/ML model success metrics.
- Excellent backlog and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Comfort working with JIRA, Confluence etc.
- Basic understanding of Python, API, SQL and Azure platform is desirable.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with adaptability in experimental AI.
- Bachelors/masters degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
