Job Title: Senior Executive Quality Assurance

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of all incoming raw materials, packing materials, water analysis, and glass analysis by conducting thorough testing.

  1. Perform external inspection chemical testing to guarantee compliance with industry standards.
  2. Test and prepare detailed reports for incoming raw materials, adhering to ideal standards.
  3. In case of non-acceptance, provide a failure report to the Head of Department (HOD).
  4. Maintain an organized stock of reagents used in testing, properly identifying each item.
  5. Keep records of received test reports from suppliers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  6. Report any instrument failures or perform preventive maintenance with assistance from the Instrument department.
  7. Accurately maintain instrument identification, calibration status, product displays, and product catalogs.
  8. Retain failed material samples until final decision is made by the HOD, marking them as 'Rejected.'
  9. Conduct inspections of goods (finished, semi-finished) according to quality procedures or inspection plans for Glass wool, Flexi duct, and Pipe section.
  10. Prepare daily Management Information System (MIS) reports and maintain documents as per implemented quality systems.
  11. Provide verbal feedback on production materials that do not meet requirements or specifications, prompting immediate corrective action from production.
  12. Verify proper packaging (identification of goods, carton, and polythene) of finished goods through visual inspection, informing shift in charge for corrective measures if necessary.
  13. Perform additional random checks of glass wool retain samples for LOI/moisture content in QC.
  14. Conduct long-duration tests for glass wool products, Pipe section products, and Flexi duct products.

Educational Qualification: MSc. (Chemistry)/ BSc. (PCM) / BE Chemical

Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years' experience

Preferred Industry: Experience in Glass Industry (preferably Insulation), Chemical, or Building Materials
