Job Overview:

As a Senior Executive Quality Assurance professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our products. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough testing of raw materials, packing materials, and finished goods to ensure they meet our quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site chemical testing during external inspections and prepare detailed reports for incoming raw materials.

  • Perform long-duration tests for glass wool, Pipe section, and Flexi duct products.

  • Inspect goods (finished and semi-finished) according to quality procedures or inspection plans for Glass wool, Flexi duct, and Pipe section.

  • Verify proper packing (identification of goods, cartons, and polythene) of finished goods through visual inspections, informing shift-in-charge of any non-conformities for corrective measures.

  • Maintain accurate records of received test reports from suppliers and track instrument calibration status, product displays, and catalogs.

  • Respond promptly to instrument failures, perform preventive maintenance with the Instrument department, and update records accordingly.

  • Retain samples of failed materials until final decisions are made by the HOD and identify consignments as 'Rejected'.

  • Prepare daily Management Information System (MIS) reports and maintain all documents as per implemented quality systems.

  • Provide immediate verbal feedback to production teams if materials do not meet requirements or specifications, facilitating corrective actions.

  • Conduct additional random checks on glass wool retain samples for LOI/moisture content in QC.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Chemistry (MSc.) or Bachelor's degree in PCM (BSc.) or BE Chemical is required.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field is necessary.

  • Preferred industry: Glass Industry (Insulation), Chemical, or Building Material.
