Project Director Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to lead projects from conception to completion.

Main Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and Budgeting
    • Analyze project requirements and create detailed budgets, BOQs, and project schedules with milestones and timelines.
    • Review tender documents, client specifications, and drawings to ensure alignment with project objectives.
    • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to drive results.
  • Site Management and Client Coordination
    • Conduct thorough site visits to assess scope and constraints, and provide technical input during client meetings and negotiations.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants throughout the project, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Design and Technical Oversight
    • Coordinate with design and engineering teams to validate drawings for constructability and practical execution.
    • Evaluate and recommend design changes to ensure project efficiency and quality.
  • Production Planning and Procurement
    • Develop and implement efficient production planning processes to meet site requirements.
    • Oversee procurement of materials and resources, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Project Execution and Monitoring
    • Supervise project execution, including foundation, erection, roofing, cladding, and finishing works.
    • Manage subcontractors, labor, and equipment deployment to ensure project success.
  • Project Completion and Handover
    • Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and timeline requirements.
    • Prepare final documentation, including as-built drawings, quality reports, and completion certificates.
    • Conduct client walkthroughs and obtain approvals.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in construction or infrastructure development.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
