Job Overview:

This role involves overseeing construction activities, ensuring quality control, and coordinating with stakeholders. A Site Engineer will be responsible for the planning and coordination of construction activities to ensure timely completion of projects.

The successful candidate will have on-site project management experience, focusing on civil and structural engineering. They should possess excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Preparing site plans and specifications
  • Inspecting construction sites to ensure compliance with design, project specifications, and safety codes
  • Directing or performing surveys and measurements
  • Knowledge of excavation process and work height
  • Estimating costs and preparing budgets
  • Planning and coordinating construction activities for timely project completion
  • Collaborating with architects, consultants, and contractors on project estimations and designs
  • Performing geotechnical analysis and conducting soil tests for structural foundations
  • Reporting on work progress and budget matters to seniors
  • Ensuring materials and workmanship meet project quality standards and design requirements
  • Addressing problems that may arise during construction
  • Ensuring the project complies with all building and safety codes

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in civil engineering with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience
  • On-site project management experience in civil and structural engineering
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders
  • Strong background in quality control processes and safety compliance in construction projects
  • Proficiency in using AI-based project planning and scheduling tools is an asset

About this Role:

This is a full-time position requiring on-site presence. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
