Lead Civil Engineer Project Manager
  • The Lead Civil Engineer Project Manager will oversee all civil and interior work projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • He/She will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and supervisors, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • With a minimum of 14 to 17 years' experience in project and construction management, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in civil and interior works execution.
  • Responsibilities include:
    • Inspecting all interior fit out, finishes, FF&E, Loose furniture, and comparing it with drawings and specifications.
    • Measuring and checking building materials in terms of quality and identifying any defects and suggesting ways to correct them.
    • Monitoring and reporting work progress to the VP Engineering.
    • Assisting the Site team & Co-ordinating with PMO for verification, validation, and certification of bills.
    • Preparing snag lists and following up with contractors to de-snag and ensure handing over to the Operations Team.
    • Coordinating with all vendors, sub-contractors, and vendors for the quality of works at site.
    • Ensuring that all works are carried out as per approved design drawings, documents, contract technical specifications, and quality plans as per brand standards.
    • Following the correct method statement along with the checklist in place.
    • Conducting and monitoring work progress on a daily basis.
    • Reviewing manpower requirement and allocating work fronts.
    • Issuing non-compliance reports and notifying deviations/variances noticed at site.
    • Monitoring material availability at site and forecasting material requirements, informing the PMO in advance.
    • Meeting schedule and targets assigned by the VP and raising flags on missing targets.
    • Tracking planned vs Actual progress of each project in terms of Schedule, Resources, and Cost.
    • Ensuring safety and implementing safe practices to make the site an accident-free zone.
    • Coordinating with Civil and M&E department and ensuring smooth flow of works.
    • Working knowledge of AUTOCAD & MS PROJECT is mandatory.
    • Experience in handling project cost estimation, approvals, site expenses, and coordinating with PMO is required.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 14 to 17 years' experience as Project and Construction Manager in Civil & Interior works execution.
  • Proven track record of success in civil and interior works execution.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in AUTOCAD and MS PROJECT.
  • Knowledge of project cost estimation, approvals, and site expenses.
